  • Grand Prize, for painting «Donde moran los terribles», III Bienal Internacional de Pintura, Cuenca, Ecuador. Painting despicts O'Neills reaction to society treatment of AIDS patients, especially concerning Carlos Collazo.
  • Computer graphic designed and selected for silkprint portfolio published for the upcoming Puerto Rico's Pavillion at the Universal Exhibition in Seville, Spain, 1992.

1995

  • Created and launched cultural e-zine «El cuarto del Quenepón» (cuarto.quenepon.org), April 15, one of the first ten Spanish e-zines on the Internet.
  • Second Adquisition Prize, Certamen Museo de Arte Contempóraneo de Puerto Rico, San Juan, for computer generated work «La Isla Jamás» (co-created with Rosa Irigoyen).
  • Award, Federal Design Achievement Awards, Round Four of the Presidential Design, for the design of the first Puerto Rican pre-press Exhibition Catalogue for «Exhibición Homenaje a Carlos Collazo», Washington, D.C. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Artifact Posters and Cooper-Hewitt: A Design Resource, were among the awarded. According to the Federal Design Achievement Award, "Carlos Collazo was a Puerto Rican painter, ceramist, and graphic designer who died of AIDS at the age of 34. Designed for people without access to the artist's work or his contribution to our society, Exhibition Catalogue for «Carlos Collazo 1956-1990 Exposición Homenaje» is a unique contribution to the history of art in Puerto Rico. Reflecting the social and artistic context of the artist, the catalogue incorporates traditional oral history with theoretical background. By making the investigation of the artist as thorough as possible, the designer has provided a catalogue that can be used as a reference for further studies."

  • Starts painting again, «Fin de Juego» series. This body of work are base mostly on icononical puertorrican artwork made by male artists.
  • Nominated by fellow artist Pepón Osorio to the Joan Mitchell Foundation.
  • Gard Award, Excelente!, Areas, and El Tesoro del Capitán, for «El cuarto del Quenepón».
  • Creates the first local chat and video broadcast over the web for the XII Bienal de San Juan del Grabado Latinoamericano y el Caribe symposium, El cuarto del Quenepón. At this time, El Quenepón was receiving 20,000 readers a month.
  • Art Director for the launching of the Fundación Puertorriqueña de las Humanidades’s website.
  • Art Director for the launching of Oficina de Apoyo a las Artes, Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña’s website, until 1999.

  • Participates in «Fibras Trans-Migratorias: Artistas Latinos y Latinoamericanos en el Internet», Museo de Arte de Querétaro, México, El cuarto del Quenepón. Right after, she close Quenepón.
